My name is Helly White, I am an OFSTED childminder holding a Paediatric First Aid Certificate, Safeguarding Children Certificate, Food Hygiene Certificate, DBS Checked and have completed my Home Care Childminding Course. I live in the Norden area with my husband Pete, two children Rupert and Beatrix and our cat Richard.
Wellyblobs offers a caring home from home environment, whilst following the curriculum of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Our home is very spacious offering the children lots of areas to play, with a large living room and living/dining area, cosy activity snug area, all weather patio and gardens. Child led and free play is encouraged, we will have themes and activities throughout the year which the children will be encouraged to participate in but is not essential. Use of the great outdoors is encouraged and we aim to get out and about daily. We go to play groups, play areas, parks, shops and lots more in term- time In the school holidays we like to visit farms, zoos, parks, play areas and lots more depending on the age range of children (and the weather!)
Our opening hours are 7am-7pm Monday to Friday and we provide healthy and nutritious Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners and two snacks a day to the children in our care, which are all homemade. The only things we don't provide are nappies, wipes and formula. If your child requires these, please pack them along with a spare change of clothes and weather appropriate clothing (hats, scarves, gloves, wellies, waterproof coat, sun hats, sun cream – weather dependent).
Here at Wellyblobs we like to keep parents ‘in the loop’ with their child/rens development and so we send home a daily diary each day so you can see what your child has been up to, eating, napping etc... and we are more than happy to keep you up to date with how your child is during the day with photos and updates via what's app and text messages.
Please don't hesitate to call me if you would like to learn more.
